Projects telling the story of ٺƵ recently won accolades from the regional arm of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, a few months after many of the same projects won awards in .
In addition, two ٺƵ Health videos earned awards from Sharecare and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ New York Chapter.
ٺƵ won 43 CASE — a new name for the region's Awards of Excellence — for various communications and development projects. The region takes in California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
The Office of Strategic Communications’ efforts toward “building trust in the administration using social media” won a Best of District VII award, after earning a Grand Gold Circle of Excellence award in July. New light pole banners and wall graphics won accolades, as did the new look for the Welcome Center, which was renamed last year in honor of the late enrollment executive Walter Robinson.
The , produced by Paul David Terry of Development and Alumni Relations, won an award in July and was honored with five awards in this round of competition. That digest is a quarterly newsletter that “includes stories across identities, events and initiatives,” Terry wrote in the nomination materials for the awards.
“Our campus strives for greater belonging through affirmations of our ٺƵ Principles of Community,” he wrote. “In each digest, readers gain a small insight into awareness across our affinity networks, and in a way that is palatable and celebratory, it is the way we strive for Black joy, queer joy, joy with Latinx people, those with dis/abilities, and beyond.”
The branding for ٺƵ Stores’ Equitable Access Digital Textbook Program also won an award from CASE.
, in partnership with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ New York Chapter, presented awards to ٺƵ Health’s Department of Public Affairs and Marketing for the videos “Healthier Food, Stronger Economy: The Benefits of Sourcing Local and Organic Ingredients” (award presented by , by video) and “Beads of Courage” (award presented by , by video).
